I just came across your forum and I still have a problem trying to download duck duck go as my search engine. I have a HP Stream with Windows 10 and it uses Microsoft Edge. For some reason, when I follow your step by step instructions, or duck duck go's step by step instructions to download I'm having difficulty because my menu settings are different and does NOT contain the "search engine window" to allow me to change it. My settings read as follows:

DuckDuckGo is a search engine that provides extra security for its user. You cannot place a shortcut of it on the taskbar since it would still be identified as a browser. What you can do is set the DuckDuckGo website as the startup page for your browser so each time that you will open your browser, it will open DuckDuckGo right away.

I have been trying, unsuccessfully to get rid of the bing search engine. I have tried everything and it won't delete. I am close to removing edge from my laptop, I need a fix to remove Bing and replace with Duckduckgo, please.
